How to Find Your Device ID

Your device ID identifies your Mac for licensing purposes. You may need it when contacting support about license transfers or activation issues.

Steps

1. Open CrossWheel
2. Go to the menu bar: CrossWheel → About CrossWheel
3. Your device ID is shown at the bottom — click it to copy

What is the device ID?

The device ID is a unique identifier derived from your Mac's hardware. It does not contain any personal information. CrossWheel uses it to tie your license to your machine.

Each license supports up to 2 Macs. If you need to move your license to a different Mac, contact support@crosswheel.seastian.com with your license key and device ID.
